SCHOOL FAMILY EDUCATION WORKSHOP ON SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING – Mrs Joanna Lee, HOD for Pupil Development
SCHOOL FAMILY EDUCATION WORKSHOP ON SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING – Mrs Joanna Lee, HOD for Pupil Development
Social Emotional Learning refers to the acquisition of skills to recognize and manage emotions, develop care and concern for others, make responsible decisions, establish positive relationships and handle challenging situations effectively. In our school, we hope to imbue in our students the ability to demonstrate our school’s core values of Respect, Integrity, Synergy, Risk-taking and Pride.
We realize that the weekly teachings will be even more effective if parents continue to reinforce the teachings at home. We seek a closer collaborative effort with our parents, so that we can help our students reach their maximum potential.
